Tire Repair
At Kenwood, we fix over 1000 tires a year. Lawnmower to Lexus, we fix them all!
So if you've noticed a slow leak in one of your tires, it's best to get it fixed right away because delaying the inevitable, could lead to an unsafe and/or unrepairable tire.
There is only one way to properly fix a tire and it involves specialized materials and a trained technician. A plug alone is a temporary repair at best, and will probably void the manufacturers waranty. This video shows exactly how we will repair your tire is it has a nail, screw or other object in the tread.
Since 1994, when we started fixing tires with a plug/patch combination, we have fixed over 18 000 tires, with 100% success. At Kenwood, we use a repair system by REMA, that restores tires to their original condition (see below). Most flat repairs take 30-45 minutes and cost $30.
